Can Quanto permanently delete my files?
No. Every action moves files to the Recycle Bin. There is no permanent-delete switch anywhere in the app.
Could it ever touch my system files?
No. Windows and your important system folders are always off-limits, automatically, before any scan or cleanup runs.
Does it send my files anywhere?
No file is ever uploaded. Scanning and cleanup happen on your own computer. We store only your account and credit. The Cleanup Planner chat sends what you type, plus the names and sizes of items you ask about, to an AI service — see our Privacy Policy.
Do I need an account?
Yes — a free one, with your email. It keeps your cleanup credit safe, so you never lose it if you reinstall or switch PCs. Scanning your drive costs nothing.
Will I pay for space I don't use?
No. Review & Pay shows exactly how much your scan found and charges only for that, down to the paisa. Any credit you already have is subtracted first, and credit never expires.
Is it a monthly subscription?

Instead of a pack, the app can charge you for just the space it found — less any credit you already hold. The credit added matches the space exactly, and the price is worked out to the paisa. Smaller amounts cost ₹1 per GB, and the more you free, the less each GB costs, down to about ₹0.43.
